"Affinity", to us, means more - a close relationship, a common bond and goal, and a kinship that includes love and concern.
Our E-MIN family is bound together in a natural "affinity relationship" by our love for Jesus Christ!
We participate every day in an "affinity relationship" with each other when tens of thousands of E-MIN subscribers all over the world share "Today"s Seed", "One Minute Messages", and the other services of E-MIN.
We read the same Scriptures and pray together in unity, in one heart and purpose. When you pray along with "Today's Seed", you are joining with tens of thousands across the face of this planet in unity of heart and Spirit to the Lord!
There is great strength and power when an "affinity group" acts as a body -- as one.
The Word of God speaks often of this power:
"Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst." Matthew 18:19-20
"Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand. . . Lev 26:8
Remember the story of Jesus feeding of the five thousand in Matthew 14? He commanded His disciples to see what was available if they put what they had together. There were only five loaves and two fish.
Not much to feed a multitude, yet, "they all ate and were satisfied. And they picked up twelve full baskets of leftovers! (Mark 6: 42-43)
Our E-MIN family, acting in our affinity relationship - together, as one - can achieve far more than we ever imagined possible as individuals.
